About Peggy

HomeTrac Accounting Solutions is owned and operated by Peggy Pastore, an accounting professional with an MS degree in Accounting from Georgetown University and a BS in Business from the University of Massachusetts.

After several years of working as a CPA & CFO in luxury hospitality and real estate corporate environments, Peggy chose to pursue an adventure in real estate investment. This newfound freedom allowed her to indulge her passion for real estate as an investor and a real estate agent in DC, Maryland and Virginia.

After several years of rehabbing houses and securing a portfolio of rental properties, she became aware of the immense need for trusted accounting services for small to medium-sized investors. It was disheartening for her to see so many investors fail due to poor or non-existent financial structure in their businesses.

Several fellow investors urged her to offer her services and fill the void. Their persistence fueled the launch of HomeTrac Accounting Solutions to provide specialized virtual back office support to the small to mid-sized real estate investor.

Peggy has traveled extensively as a military dependant and during her time with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. She has lived in France, Okinawa and Indonesia but lovingly calls Frederick, Maryland home.

Peggy is passionate about helping small businesses grow and feels honored to play a supporting role in that growth. When Peggy is not working with clients, she can be found in the garden or at her sewing machine creating amazing quilts for friends and family.
